Star 69 Records and Armani Exchange have once again partnered for the fourth installment in the Armani Exchange Music Series, “Chemistry”.

Chemistry captures the energy and heat of two of the today's hottest DJs to create this double CD set compilation. Compiled and mixed by PALASH & DJ RAP, two of the hottest young internationally renowned DJ/Producers in the world this CD includes: Armand Van Helden “Hear My Name”, Junior Jack “Stupidisco”, Donna Summer “I Feel Love”, Soul II Soul featuring Caron Wheeler “Keep on Movin”.

Known for their distinctive styles, these jet setting turntable titans have set dance floors a blaze, from New York to Ibiza. Palash spins the sultry progressive tribal beats while DJ Rap goes oldskool with house classics.

In conjunction with the launch of this CD, Armani Exchange will host a series of events in major markets (New York, Los Angeles, Denver, San Diego, Miami and Boston). Palash and DJ Rap will hit the decks to spin their incredible tribal & progressive sounds mixed with drum ‘n’ bass and house beats for a crowd of local fashionistas, celebrities and tastemakers from the music and fashion industries.

Armani Exchange is an incubator for Giorgio Armani’s new ideas and the street barometer of his fashion directions. A|X directs Mr. Armani’s pure sense of design to an innovative collection for the young, urban chic.

Armani Exchange – “CHEMISTRY”…the ultimate blend of seductive progressive house tracks. Available exclusively at Armani Exchange stores, ArmaniExchange.com and Virgin Megastores.

"HIGHER" – mixed by Peter Rauhofer
________________________________________________________________

Star 69 Records and Armani Exchange have joined forces to bring the third in the Armani Exchange A/X Music Series. Peter Rauhofer mixes the CD and proves he has an understanding of the true seductive nature of house music. After a solid start, the middle of this continuous mix simmers with a fantastic groove in Mau Mau’s “The Truth” and then perks with a hint of Kraftwerk-ish beats in Robert Owens’ “Living A Life.”

Rauhofer includes his trademark tribal rhythms, though only slightly tweaked here, with “Bahia Azul” by Zebra and then ends the mix with a decidedly old school house music feel courtesy of tracks such as “Can You Feel It” by Mr. Fingers and his Classic Club Mix of Madonna’s “Nothing Fails.” Higher is being sold exclusively at A/X stores and at select Virgin Megastores.

Star 69 Records and Cafeteria

Star 69 Records, in conjunction with white hot eatery/lounge, Cafeteria (New York, South Beach Miami), released a timeless chill/lounge compilation CD entitled “hear.”

The CD features seamless transitions from track to track courtesy of Grammy Award-winning remixer/producer Peter Rauhofer, who proudly displays his softer side with this, his first ever, down-tempo compilation featuring a non-stop collection of timeless music.

Rauhofer, has recently completed remixes for Madonna, Christina Aguilera, Whitney Houston, and Annie Lennox, to name a few. Two of Rauhofer’s own productions make their way onto the unique “hear.” collection: a chilled out take on the Rauhofer + The Pet Shop Boys’ 2001 dance floor remake of the classic house stomper “Break 4 Love,” as well as Peter’s Chilled Dub of Yoko Ono’s “Walking On Thin Ice.”

“Cafeteria" customers were always asking if the music they were hearing in the restaurant was available for purchase on CD,” said Executive Co-Producer Rauhofer. “So Mark and I teamed up to give the customer what they wanted – a vocal oriented chill/lounge disc that contains a lot of previously unreleased and rare material.”

Executive Co-producer and Cafeteria Partner Mark Thomas Amadei: “The CD is compiled in an order that will take the listener on a musical ride. It begins with the appropriately titled sexy track “Wake Up” by Waldek and finishes with Chantal Kreviazuk’s more soothing “Leaving On A Jet Plane.”

The compilation can be found at any music retailer nationwide.
